Python Job: Python Test Automation Engineer (m-f-d)

An expanding software company (over 2500 customers) continues to grow with its successful product, which is offered both OpenSouce and in a commercial variant. Currently about 30 developers and OpenSource enthusiasts are working in the company to make the product always a bit better and more modern. To be able to meet the requirements in the future, the company is looking for a Python Test Automation Engineer (m/f/d) that shares the passion for Python, Testing and OpenSource. You will work in a small QA Team inside the development department.

Your tasks:

• You will be responsible for topics such as test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD (Jenkins, Gitlab, CircleCI) as well as software quality and drive these forward by advising the development team on testing methods.
• To this end, you will drive test automation using GUI, web services, interfaces, etc. and assist in the definition and implementation of test automation methods.
• Together with other developers, you will work on new features, achieve good test coverage and help establish a framework to support developers in creating automated functional tests.
• You will also contribute to the further development of our CI and test architecture, support the automation of build processes and follow test-driven development approaches.
• You will also be involved in the software development of the product as a Python developer.

Your profile:

• Professional experience in Python backend development and test automation.
• Experience in large software projects and in agile software development processes (Scrum, Kanban, TDD, CI, Pair Programming, ...)
• Great interest and enthusiasm for new technologies and their application
  
• An ISTQB certificate is desirable
• You will find yourself (partially) in the following tech stack:
